Day 28 of the 31 Days of December Challenge
A bit of a hectic day, actually. Don't worry, it's a good thing.
Today, I talked to the VA Mortgage Center referral client, Larry. He's pretty gung-ho, which is cool, plus he has a house to Sell once we purchase his new home. He's looking at the market like a kid in a candy store. He wants it ALL. Again, not a bad thing, it's just gonna take a little bit to figure out what he wants and where he wants it.
Got a call today from James. James was referred to me by a friend. I love referrals from friends! I talked to him for a little bit, explained the basics of what needs to be done to buy a house. He's brand new at this. A newbie! I hope he'll enjoy the ride as much as I do.
We submitted an offer on a Short Sale this evening. The one we looked at in the dark last night, freezing. Remember? There's another offer on the same house that came in just before ours. Keep your fingers crossed for them!
AND, the buyers agent for one of my Listings finally called me back. He told me his buyer is out of town until after this weekend. Once he gets back, he'll sign the paperwork and we'll move forward with the sale.
New client from a referral. Another new client from a referral. Listing purchase update. Offer submitted. Sweet.
Now I can go home and hang out with the family.
Talk to you tomorrow.
